In order to investigate experimentally the clinical effects of Sibimikwanjung-tang that was prescribed to cure the Wisuhanrihanbyung, ( ), of Soeumin
( >WA ) the author experimented various activites of mixed extract from the Sibimikwanjung-tang by the method prescribed in the experimental part.
The results of the studies were summerized *as follows:
1. Analgesic effect of C.N.S., also hypothemic effect of normal body temperature and antipyretic effect were noted.
2. On the carrageenin edema of the model of actue inflammation, anti-inflammatory effect was noted.
3. On the permeability of Pontamine Sky Blue into Peritoneal Cavity by acetic acid, inhibitory effect was noted.
4. Diuretic effect was noted.
5. On the isolated heart of Frogs, suppressive effect of contraction was noted.
6. The expansion of blood vessels and fall of blood pressure were noted.
According to the above, results, effects based on oriental medical references were approximate to actual experimental results.
